None in my hands but I stepped on a piece that bled like a banshee.

They look good. Especially if on a budget.

So you basically break the old glass out or can you heat the fog up in the oven like a smiley? I have a set that are both cracked & look sandbalasted. Whish I had seen this thread last week. I just bought a used set for 110.00.

          Gracias

          btw

www.mrlens.com comes up not found. anyone have a new addy or somewhere else to get lenses?

Found a set on ebay with graphic removal/replacement instructions.

BMW E30 3 SERIES FOG LIGHT LENS SET NEW FOGLAMP is the title.

I think the eBay ones are the US distrib. for Mr Lens, but if their site is down they probably went out of business.

Why would you want to heat the lens off? Its not like you are going to keep them, just smash it out.

Seems it's easier and less dangerous to take it off whole than deal with breaking it off. Mine are solid except for where the rock cracked them.

TJ... if you want to get the lamin-x on without bubbles.... try using soapy water.... clean the lense... dry it and spray soapy water on both surfaces... then use a credit card/squigy (sp.) to get all the water out from under the film....

but yah... Mr. Lense doesn't work.... who was the seller on ebay if i might ask?

go to BMP's website, no dealing with ebay or shady south african companies.

the pictures are wrong, but as long as you're ordering for an E30 you will get the right ones (I got mine there).

I would order over the phone to be sure.

Those look like early model fog lenses but I am not sure.
