i did mine with some not so expensive LIMCO 2 part urethane clear coat (for t3h uber shines) after the testors, and i sprayed it with that 20$ harbor freight hvlp gun. Its been a year and it still looks like its wet from spraying, and i didnt even wetsand polish wax blah. followd directions and the flow was perfect, and It still looks tities and it looks like itll be like that for a long time.

I used Testor's spray tint on my front sidemarkers and it turned out great, you cant see them in the bumper strip but they light up perfectly amber when the turn signal is on.

I have enough skills to do the job but don't really have the skills with painting to trust myself to do it that well.

Ummmm, that's kind of how the world works. If you don't have the skills, know-how or patience to do a job yourself, you have someone else do it for you.

Painting tail lights is seriously not that hard. If you pay for someone else to do it then you have no skills. All it takes is a little patience and know-how.

Not quite that much, but probably in the neighborhood of AT LEAST $100 to do another set like mine. I'm probably not ever going to do another set unless they're for myself.

But nothing is beyond convincing. If anything, it would not be until spring when the weather gets warm for proper painting temps.

Haha.. I will definately get springs first. I think he did a great job and a job that I could probably not do half as good.
