Cool, glad to see more ofthese popping up. I'd try just a hair lighter than yours i think

I used Tamiya color "smoke" ps-31 to get the smoke look you can almost get it to apear blacked out. Ill put up some pics. I did two cars with it my e30 and my brothers trans am.

I still have to wet sand them and buff them out. So there not that glossy yet.

Eh... its questionable, I haven't gotten any flak with mine though.

I wanted to let the clear sit for a few days.. and well its a daily driver so ya know. I looks a lot better now its been buffed out

It is Ill try and get around to taking them this weekend. There black as fuck though because wanted it to apear that way due to the fact he has a black car. but at night with the lights on you cant tell at all I even did it.

Hmm. So what exactly is illegal? Smoking, reverse lights?

If its the smoking, then what about all red? Because I know there are factory cars out there that have regular one color tail lights that blink for turns.

Red is legal, smoked is questionable...

Cops won't bug you if light output is near good as stock.

Not sure of the ACTUAL rule though.
