    2. My car is an automatic, so I would be converting it into manual. Will an E36 M3 Transmission bolt up to the M20? I'm not a big fan of the E30 manual transmission.

    Why don't you like the g260 trans? A lot of the guys who go turbo keep the stock trans (some put in a new "race" clutch)

          It's cometic* and order from WOT-Tech, hands down the best place to buy. Also they support the BMW crowd. I believe Forcedfirebird on here works/owns it? not sure. And order a set of APR head studs to go with that gasket and boost =) WOT-Tech offers those too.

              I've decided to put my own kit together. I'll do my research and figure it out. It's good to know the stock block can handle the power. I'll do a cometic head gasket and APR studs. But that's it. As I stated above. The previous 5 speed E30s I've owned and driven, the transmission feels very sloppy and warn out (Because they probably were) I tried to fix the slop in mine with a short shift kit, all new bushing, a new carrier, and selector rod. And it still felt horrible. I've never driven an E30 with a nice feeling transmission. I like the e36 transmission. There cheap, and a friend said they bolt up to the m20. So I just wanted to see if this was true.

                They bolt up but the angle on the later ZF trans (from e36) is about 12 degrees different and will have to be dealt with on install.

                You don't NEED MS, we burn custom chips for Motronic.

                          Well, this job has A/C, P/S, but don't expect the I/C to fit behind the kidneys lol.

                          Where in Naples? We are 1hr from exit 99.

                              Awesome! I can deal with that. As long as I have my icey AC that's all that matters lol
