Looks like I need this throw out bearing - https://shop.bmw.ca/p/Bmw__/CLUTCH-R...511204525.html

Think I could get away with extending the rod to match the distance between the late model TOB? It isnt much and I would wayyy rather do that vs taking off my headers/exhaust and dropping the transmission if I can avoid it.

Presumably it is possible to extend if you have the parts/means

I appreciate all the input on my clutch issues. I couldn't see any issues with my installation, so I made a new rod that was 1cm longer and it now works great. Still cant get the setup to stop squeaking. Anyone solved this issue before?

Friday the car goes into my dyno tuners shop to have a new wiring harness built and then get the carbs working. (hopefully) - Then a new paint job in mid June and upholstery shop there after. Hope to be driving it in August completed. Lets see if it was all worth it haha.

Hello Gang! Well my touring is offically and running and driving DCOE machine. It has great pull and has loads of character! The intake noise is so loud that I cant hear the exhaust past 4500 RPM. (Wasnt expecting this). On the dyno it made 44 hp more than the stock intake manifold at 6500 RPM.

I still have some tuning to do and I need to setup my Vacuum and MAP sensor as the ignition will be more manageable for street driving. On and off throttle is choppy. I need to tap the intake runners, but my car is off to get repainted in a week or so which means it will be a later job.

What was most surprising to me was the brake feel. I am running a boosterless setup with 5/8" Tilton MC's. Generally it feels like I would expect, but the ceramic pads I have on now do NOT inspire confidence when I need the brakes the most. I am curious what pads people are running with my exact setup. Its not a track car so I need something that bites right out of my driveway. Any input would be desired!

                    Indeed those are great numbers!

I wonder what a 2.5L would look like compared to the 3L. The extra 500cc must have really been choked down by the stock manifold.
