Given that most e30 owners are cheap its not an unreasonable thing to do, but far from ideal, they are as big as i would use on a stock engine.89 E30 325is Lachs Silber - currently M20B31, M20B33 in the works, stroked to the hilt...

Alright, so the 17lb injectors will work fine with the M20, after the car adjusts to them?
Would buying a FPR,and turning the fuel pressure down a notch help? I think the stock FPR is set up for 3.5 bar or something? so run 19/17lb at 3.0 bar?
Ive just been gathering bits and pieces of information from a bunch of different threads. Let me know if i'm completely wrong.
Sorry for the thread jack.

I've just seen a few people comment on the stock injectors running on the lean side/working as hard as they can at WOT.
Isn't it bad for the injectors to be maxed out at wide open throttle? The point of upgrading the injectors would be making the car as healthy as I can.
Also - what's it take to wire the Maf into the car? Just find a 12v source?

It's just internet hearsay.
Do you think BMW would really release a car that had insufficiently sized fuel injectors?
Trust me, I bought the "best" chip and 19lb injectors and noticed absolutely no gains in power/torque. I just gained a higher rev limit.
If you really want to make the car "healthy", get the MAF conversion kit.
IIRC, all you need is a 12v source and splicing a wire at the DME.

Is yours the latest revision? I was hoping that it would be 100% plug and pray (err, play). ie, no soldering.
