suddenly that adapter plate is looking alot easier to buy (aka machine) huh?

I wonder what sort of difference having it spaced out an extra inch would have, i know people with american cars use TB spacers, just dont knnow why

supposedly for more velocity, but I doubt it makes much difference.

I don't think it's *that* hard to bore it out. Seriously, if somebody can do it in their garage by hand.. I got mine from bottlecape30.

When i pick up my crank, i will ask my machinist what he thinks.
I had the idea to ask a local water jetter if they could make the plate. I hope to remember to do it Friday.

A couple of questions to be answered on the M50 body adaption:
          1) How would the vac lines get attached? 5 total.
          A) or do they need to be?
          2) How would the coolant line work?

tb spacers are also a handy place to install nitrous lines.

I don't know what the theory behind TB spacers are, but my cousin's 350Z picked up a bit of mid-range torque with one. And I personaly drove it before and after.

I invite all of you to come & check out my design in person @ BIMMERFEST! The benefits I have received are quicker throttle response with gains in the low end. I have also designed it to act as a velocity stack. I feel this is a much better improvement then just honing alone. I will have dyno charts @ the show with before and after. For the price and expense of doing all that to the T/B. My design is pretty hard to pass up. Not trying to lure you Im just confident that you will be satisfied with my design.

Check out my group buy thread, I have a few pics of it installed. The added space adds velocity, few ppl have riden in my car with pleased results. Dyno #'s to come.

Will adapter allow the vac lines and the fluid line to be connected?

Vacuum lines and booster, no pre-heater hoses. dont really need them going thru the T/B so I always bypass that. Complete bolt on, my kit will include everything you need to install.

Woohoo.......I'm so looking forward to doing this to my car, unfortunately I didn't have luck looking for a M30 throttle body at the JunkYards in the morning. :(

                                What's involved in the bypass?
