This is the worst stroker thread i've seen in recent memory.

OP, you should listen to people who've built a few of these motors. What you are trying to build is not going to get you what you think it will. The B23 crank is a waste of time.

my friend currently owns the car that peerless built. made ~135whp without a tune then jumped to around 160whp and about 170ft/lbs with the Miller MAF conversion.

and look what fresh B25 engines make i.e. 150-155 whp on AFM and motronic...so like i said its a small gain over a standard B25 when rebuilt the same level of detail. for not much more effort or cost you could have a B28

exactly what digger is getting at. that's basically what you'd get from a similarily prepped B25. a B28 would have lots more potential for basically the same effort. and honestly a 3 liter doesn't cost all that much more..

                  It works
                  885 head
                  323 cam
                  M20b25 pistons
                  135mm rods
                  M20b23 crank
And a .098" mls head gasket will leave plenty of clearance

                  A better plan would be:
                  885 head
                  M20b25 pistons
                  130 mm rods
                  M20b27 crank
                  stock head gasket
Deck the block to the desired compression ratio

You can probably get the block decked for about the same cost as the mls head gasket. You'd have a bigger motor and more flexibility with the compression ratio.

better to use b28 crank dont need to take 2mm off only 0.5mm and more cubes

                      885 head (with port/valve work)
                      130mm rods

                      Eta crank
                      And a 274 cam
(I also have headers, port matched intake, p&p'd tb and an m30 afm.
