    Bad tps!?!? Need help rev

So last week I was driving back home from work I got on the highway and ripped through 2 & 3rd gear to find out my gas pedal was stuck down, the car was reving out to the max I got off the first exit I saw. popped the hood and saw the throttle body was stuck open, I pushed it back turned on the car & the idle was back to normal but as soon as I touch on the gas the rpm got stuck around 1800 & 2k. I managed to get it home cleaned out the icv and cleaned up the inside of the throttle plate checked the throttle cable from the pedal to the throttle body itself, replaced the tps with a spare one I had left over but still the same, when you turn the throttle body manually everything is OK but as soon as you touch the pedal then it acts up very random and weird I would really appreciate the help!?!?

Clean everything up then disconnect the negative battery cable for about 10 min to reset the ECU.

disconnect the throttle cable from the throttle body and try and move cable in the sheath, the cable is probably binding

I agree with digger, your throttle cable is probably binding. Try to lube every that moves with the pedal too.

its worse on RHD vehicle as the cable goes near exhaust and they put a tight 90* bend just after firewall so they bind over time. its not fun getting stuck at WOT 7000rpm on the street bouncing off limiter.

Don't RHD cars have the engines flipped end to end to reduce torque steer ?

No, they just flipped the whole country end to end to reduce torque steer. That's why it's called down under.
