    How the f do i get the fuel injector clips off!!!!!!!

    I'm gonna flip out. I hate this shit. I don't want to take off the intake because that sucks even worse but I could only get off 2 of the clips but I just cannot get the others off the damn injectors to pull the rail. What. Do. I. Do. There is not a single solid wrote up on this anywhere.

      I hate this job more than Donald trump. All clips are off and I am literally just put all of y muscle into trying to pull the rail/injectors and they just don't buds.

                Actually what I did was grabbed my biggest ratchet and longest extension and used it as a long lever and it popped right off. Turns out you don't need to take the clips off just to pop the fuckers from the sockets I was losing my mind

                  Make sure you have all the pintle caps. Sometimes one or two stay in the manifold.

                      Those are the nastiest injectors Ive ever seen. I'm guessing it ran like shit if it even ran.

                      I suspect your combustion chambers look the same. I'd do compression and leak down tests, a whole bunch of maintenance and hope i don't need to pull the head.

                        The head was just pulled by the last owner and a valve job done when the timing belt went. It ran fine just idled rough when cold

                          if your combustion chambers look remotely,like those injectors you won't have a choice. The hot spots that can result from that kind of build up can cause catastrophic damage including burning a hole in a piston...notwithstanding that it will never run right.

                            Couldn't you just run some injector cleaner and some seafoam through the engine first, hit the freeway at 4000rpm for a few miles to try and burn away any build up? I've also heard of mixing a quart of atf in a full tank of gas can help clean out the injectors since atf has so much detergent.

                              Two of the injectors are leaking at the rail. I've taken it apart twice and reassembled it and they are still fucking leaking. Wtf!?
