    Help with cam removal

I have an 885 head with bent valves and 2 broken rockers from a snapped timing belt. I'm trying to take the head apart, I took the rockers off and now trying to take off the cam that from what ive read it should just slide out but the cam wont even move. I'm I missing something here?

Did the rocker shafts slide out easily? Can you get the cam to rotate? Is the head warped or cracked?

The rocker shafts came out pretty easy, no sure if the head is warped, cant see any cracks.

Cam rotates, rockers slid out...you need to remove the cam seal housing. Someone may have bonded it to the head

If the rockers are out of the way/ cam seal housing removed, the only thing I can think of is a low/ no oil pressure issue chewed up the cam bearings. I bought a head one time that looked perfect until the cam cam out.

Since the rocker shafts came out easy, it' shouldn't be too warped.

                          Good luck.

Have you tried carefully "persuading" it with a wood dowel and a hammer ?
