Perhaps. Generally I have a tab open to a couple forums so when shop programs are loading, browse and chat in the meantime. Many of the builds here have owners that don't care to advertise what they have. Our YouTube videos are taken by owners, or at owners' request.

Leave them anonymous! We need dyno sheets... well, everyone but one.

You do realize there is no such thing as “real HP” either its a mathematical number based off torque. Its very clear your just blowing smoke. You will never know how much power your making off of just making a pass unless you are using a virtual dyno with a lap tap riding shot gun. Or a the good ol ass dyno

So, you put a car with a 4k stall in it on the dyno, make a run and your numbers will be all screwey, but let me tell you 1/4mi runs calculated to HP based on weight and trap speeds is a joke. I have seen 10" tire 3800cc powered Firebird run a 12 flat in pure stock. Based on the "1/4mi dyno", this should be a ~350whp car at 2700lb, but he is about 100whp short of that - yet nails a 1.3 60' with one wheel up. The 1320 is make or break in the short times.

Any flat tapped push rod is also sliding, and limits the domestic ramp rates as well as the friction surfaces requiring zinc (much like the m20).
Only trapspeed and weight can correlate decent to hp but it's average hp (over the range of rpm used during the run ). Still it won't give a curve so how much meaning do you place on it if it's not a drag car ?

Yeah bad choice of words, I mean sweeping motion, even m50 slides

True. Didn't intend to imply it was meaningless, but rather calculated HP numbers are skewed when using drag racing. The numbers won't correlate to what the engine actually makes if taken at the wheels and/or crank. Just like a dyno, it can show improvements. Guess I'm getting hung up on chasing one and two HP here and there to stay within a rule-set, the dyno is perfect for this - as well as quickly nailing MBT.
