Sorry if I'm too lazy too look, but if you're
running a 260 w/ an aluminum holder use the 535 linkage.
OR you can put the selector from the m20 onto the m30 trans
and use the 325 linkage.
The difference is the size of the peg/hole of the gear selector on the trany.Comment

By looking at the part numbers, there seems to be two different sized output shafts
in the m30 trans. Make sure you have the right size/year.
The larger m20 output flange uses the the same part number
the m30 trans in the e34 uses. So I'm guessing one could use the smaller flange going
by that if you have to e34 trans. But it's different for the e28 535i trans somehow.
What is the trans out of?Last edited by LowR3V'in; 03-25-2010, 10:04 PM.Comment

You don't need to do anything with that plug...ignore it.
Pin outs have been posted here many times....you do want to look at the ETM for YOUR specific model / year though.Mtech1 v8 build thread - https://www.r3vlimited.com/board/sho...d.php?t=413205
