I had a 3:64 lsd and could spin up in all gears without trying. Just fitted a 3:46 lsd and have a huge amout of extra traction, can still silp it for drifting very easy, but a 73 :o pointless imo...

so a 3.46 is the hot setup?
i have a 4.10 and a 3.73 lsd at the house, but there is a 3.46 at the pick n pull near me. If I had time sundayI would have pulled it.

if it was from an e32, you're good. I believe the starters are interchangeable between any m30 equipped car. Don't quote me on that though.

Yes, get the e32 or e34 m30 starter, they are smaller and easier to install/remove.

I am using an auto starter on my car. Pretty sure the teeth of the auto and manual flywheels are the same.

1 - you can use most of them, other than the 1 temp sensor for your cluster (temp gauge), that one must be from an e30.

2 - those are wear items, I would install ALL NEW shifter hardware/bushings for a 325i e30. Or get an AKG bushing to have even less play. Seriously do not re-use old shifter components or you'll have LOTS of shifter slop/play.

3 - look up part number on realoem and cross reference it.
