3 - look up part number on realoem and cross reference it.
Thanks jean really helpful information have another question now when i go to hook up my injectors, can i use the ones that came on the e30 or its better to just us the ones that came with the m30

e30 uses 14lb injectors I believe. The m30 runs 19lb. You need to run 19lb for it to run properly.

You can go up to 21.5 or 24 (I think they come on the e36 m3), but you'll probably need a chip to control them.

Injector wires are part of the e32/e34 engine harness...so you don't need any of that stuff from the e30. UNLESS you plan on using e30 harness.

              I used a starter from an auto-e34
              and a e28 flywheel.

You must be new to the e30 scene. You are in one of the hotbeds of Salvage Yards with clean, lo/no rust e30's waiting to be stripped. I miss the yards out there now. You could find about ten of them at the Ecology off Cherry in Fontana. Plus there are all sorts of other yards within 30 min of you. Just go hunting.
