What's the reason for relocating your battery? Did you relocate your Washer reservoir to the battery tray due to the new location of the M30's AFM? And now your relocating the battery to the trunk like later models? I'm not entirely sure, but I'm pretty sure with our cars (early 318i) the battery won't fit where it does in most other e30's, it'd have to sit elsewhere in the trunk.Leave a comment:

I am not doing clutch dumps or anything like that, it would just cause lots of noise/smoke and me not going anywhere.. :)
It really is fun though, it's like a different car. 1st gear is sooo short though, 2nd is nice and it's got power to rip through 3rd as well. It's just a constant grin on the face, but I am taking it easy as I can't afford to get pulled over right now.
My brother drove it today and was very impressed as well, he drives an m-sport 540i 6 speed.Leave a comment:

Bled the air out of the system by raising the front end about 15"... temp gauge is now stuck almost dead in the center at 1/2 even with heater off. I am only running the a/c condenser fan.
Taking my late model cluster apart now to figure out the check engine lightLeave a comment:

Nice man. Congrats!
M10 to M30? hahaha. The difference might as well been
like VW golf to Porsche 911. :)Leave a comment:

LOL, what can I say, it's quite a difference from the m10. I have to say I like my old sheet metal console shifter better, it had less side to side play than this newer style console even though it's got all new hardware/bushings.Leave a comment:

M30 Power FTW!!! Pulls like a train. 1st goes by quick. Used an e28 535i lower radiator hose and it's about 1/2" longer than the e32/e34 hose. Used my m10 temp sender for cluster and it's working. Will order a new sender for my late model cluster. I need to fix my late model cluster as the tach is off. All gauges work though :)
I think there is air in the system, it seems like the temp gauge goes up and then down, and up and down. I'll try and jack the front end up and see if air bubbles come out of the bleeder screw.
