Correct. Fixed that :)
Placed what I think the last couple of orders for the missing parts.
e28 535i sachs clutch kit.
m30 belts/m20 tranny & engine mounts
large guibo, shifter components
Need to pick up correct size/length guibo/driveshaft bolts and two starter bolts.
Now I think all I'll need is the muffler/exhaust tubing...Mtech1 v8 build thread - https://www.r3vlimited.com/board/sho...d.php?t=413205

Something simple I hope and on a budget. Straight pipes? j/k
I don't have a cat yet, so maybe 2 into 1 m20 cat - 2.25-2.5" tubing?
Suggestions?Mtech1 v8 build thread - https://www.r3vlimited.com/board/sho...d.php?t=413205

I was just curious.
I have e28 downpipes or something into a custom welded box for the o2 sensor (which I don't use) which connects to an m20 cat and stock cat back exhaust. It's not particularly pretty but I needed something that worked until I could get an upgrade. I'm thinking magnaflow muffller and maybe cat too, or perhaps just a resonator, who knows.
It's relatively quiet the way I have it. Btw it cost me all of $5 to do it since I got the down pipes for free and just kind of hacked them up and stuck it all together.
I say just use red bull cans all the way back.Originally posted by LJ851I programmed my oven to turn off when my pizza was done, should i start a build thread?

All I have right now are the stock e34 b35 manifolds down to where the cat was cut off. I have some stock exhaust parts from an 89 325i, but I'll need to buy a muffler and a cat. I am thinking a 2 into 1 right after the b35 manifolds before the cat?
I need to find pictures of a stock e32/e34 m30b35 cat and see if it's 2 in 2 out or if it's 2 in 1 out.....Mtech1 v8 build thread - https://www.r3vlimited.com/board/sho...d.php?t=413205

I would ask on mye28 about the cat.
I actually ran mine on open headers for a bit when I was still trying to work out the kinks, not driving it on the street of course. It sounds awesome though.Originally posted by LJ851I programmed my oven to turn off when my pizza was done, should i start a build thread?

Yeah, the b35 pipes should clear the front subframe but I have a 318i, so the current exhaust on it is useless. I just kept some exhaust parts from my 325i and maybe they'll come in handy.Mtech1 v8 build thread - https://www.r3vlimited.com/board/sho...d.php?t=413205

So I thought this would be the last order of parts, but after installing these and going over the engine I got a couple more things to order and figure out.
Clutch kit, large guibo, rotor, belts, mounts and shifter components arrive.
e28 535i Clutch kit
Test fitting to the 533 flywheel, realized that I need the mounting bolts...
I am not sure if I need different flywheel bolts, these appear to be way too long ?
Cleaned up the shifter carrier and installed new bushings...
Realized I need the mounting hardware for the carrier to the tranny...
Now where I have a couple more questions....
There is only one small connector on the bottom of my intake manifold for the vacuum line. I marked it as "A" and the bigger one "B".
Does "A" go to the FPR or does it go to the elbow for the throttle body?
If A goes to FRP, then where would "C" go to?
B - I believe goes to the valve for the charcoil canister, correct me if I am wrong on this.
C - I thought went to the bottom of the intake manifold, using the thin vacuum line.
D - goes to ICV
This valve connects to I believe point "B" and the other end goes to the canister yes?
How the engine sits now, tomorrow I'll install the fuel rail/lines and injectors.
