Everything for this kit is off to the coater. Once I have it all back it will be assembled on an engine for some pictures and then sent off.

These will never really be "Mass produced." They will be sold on a kit by kit basis...built to order.

Awesome, so the first kit is nearly ready to go? I can't wait to see some feedback on it.
The first car I ever rode in was an e30

You should dyno the e30 with the turbo kit when its all bolted up.

Edit: also what diff would be best with this setup?

Was wondering this too. I'm thinking probably a 3.73 but I'm probably gonna use a 4.10 for better acceleration.

I would stay with the 4.10.... Diff choice really matters on the use of the car. DD, autocross, track, etc. Yes with the turbo a lower diff you can stay in it longer....

Picking up the manifold from being ceramic coated tomorrow. Then pics of everything mocked up on the engine...then packed up for the buyer.

Ported the waste gasket today to stop any boost creep. The flapper is a lot bigger than the hole.

Mark showing where the flapper hits.

Opened up about 3mm and smoothed out

Looking good. Is the buyer on r3v/active in this thread? Also, one last stupid question that I know you won't like (don't worry, I wouldn't do this for quite a while, probably not before throwing a rebuilt/refreshed engine in there) but can the rod on the wastegate be adjusted to change the amount that it opens?

He is on R3v but hasn't really posted in this thread.

You can add a manual boost controller. But with more boost the tune will need to be different.

Loosely put together on an engine on a stand..

                      By pass valve

Oil return fitting...this fitting has an O-ring and nut for the inside. Kit will come with the drill bit to drill a hold in the pan. This would be a good time to drop the lower pan and make sure there are no loose bolts holding the upper pan on...commong m42 issue.

Looks amazing! I can't wait to get mine, I have most of the money and ill probably be PMing you shortly, Jake. I love the black charge pipes and couplers, the whole setup looks very OEM (other than maybe the filter).
