M60 Swap thread

picked up a 94 540i parts car with a complete 132k m60 for $100 today.

missing headlight/tailight/crap interior/no tranny/no cats/muffler but otherwise complete.

will remove the engine/brake system and sell the rest.

Don't have compression numbers yet, but I got the whole damn thing for $100 and the block/heads looks pretty fricking clean.

Probably will get 10x as much in fresh parts for it before anything else.

That's a very good deal, around here you can get 2000-3000$ easily from the parts (excluding the engine and brakes).. :)

No, upper/lower gaskets, front/rear gaskets and seals. rails/tentioners, water pump, tstat....basics. I haven't priced it all out yet, but i'll update the thread when I get to it.
