    Turbo 5.0 Swapped e30

What's up guys. Just wanted to share my build with you guys. This has been posted on a norcal e30 forum and a norcal ford forum. Lmk if you have any questions or comments. Goals for the car is to get on the track and try different things; auto-x, drift, and hpde.

I had it running for a week or two then the motor took a dump. Didnt really like the layout of the first build looked sloppy. This time around I'm keeping it cleaner.Coming back with boost this time. I'll try and keep this thread updated. Enjoy

    Pics and videos.

Got it running, It needs brake rotors and registration before i can drive it.

interior together, floorboards sprayed with rubber coating.

Cheap and effective gauges from summit. Approx $15 each. I made the delete panels from free plastic scraps. Covered them with the 3M? Carbon Fiber film.

Brakes are over rated, so is registration. Just pack a parachute to pull once you've ditched the po'po

Very interesting. I'm a big fan of Windsor v8's, we've built some crazy ones in the past. But I've yet to do a turbo one.
So did you replace this motor or did you get it rebuilt? I'd like to know more about that. I'm not surprised you've broken your standard cast rods even with the arp studs. How much power were you making?

The rods were broken from oil starvation to the front cylinders. Only the front of te motor was dry. Engine is not rebuilt, new headgaskets and seals. Didnt want to dump too much money and find i dont like the setup.
