^im sure that will sounds good, and be a bit more tame. I really just wanted to see what it would be like straight through, no x-pipe, single muffler. It didn't take me too long to build, so it's easy to add something in later, and I most likely will over the winter.

Small but exciting update today. So after "Self smarting myself" on electronics.
I was able to build myself a dual relay, dual heat sensor harness with high/low fan speed setup for 2 fans. One pusher and one puller.
I was able to build, test, and finalize the build with dual fuses and controlled by the ignition switch supported by and through the M60 harness. Using my harness adapters lead c101 x 7 ---//---x20 x21 wire Green.
I built my harness off of the setup below. The only difference is that the -grounds for the relays are routed through the low and high temp sensors that come stock in the E28 535 radiator
Top Left of the rad in this pic.
Top right of the rad in this picture you will see the temp sensors I used as a -ground for the two relays I'm using for my setup.
Everything was nice and cleaned up after the picture. I have to say I was quite happy with the setup and testing.
This thing will be a SICK ASS Daily Driver...

Item 1:
"Duel":
"Dual":
Item 2:
You can use 3 relays to control 2 fans such that at low speed the motors are in series and at high speed the motors are in parallel. It's a fairly elegant design that GM uses all the time.
"Low speed" relay:
Primary high side: low speed fan control
Primary low side: ground
Secondary high side: Fan 1 fuse
Secondary normally OPEN (NO) low side: Fan 1 high side
"High speed 1" relay:
Primary high side: high speed fan control
Primary low side: ground
Secondary high side: Fan 1 low side
Secondary Normally CLOSED (NC) low side: Fan 2 high side
Secondary Normally OPEN low side: high current ground
"High speed 2" relay:
Primary high side: high speed fan control
Primary low side: ground
Secondary high side: Fan 2 fuse
Secondary NO low side: Fan 2 high side
Fan 2 low side goes to a high current ground.
This assumes that your low and high speed fan switches are on the high side of the relays. If you have a switched ground via an electronic controller, then connect that to the primary low side, and connect hot in run (or fan enable) to the primary high sides.

I put everything back together and ran the car. Everything ran fine but I'm going to need a smaller belt for now.
Got an email today From Garagistic, There sending out a new tach thingy.
So I should have the harness wired and finished by this weekend!
WooHoo!
But In all the chaos going on I some how smacked the top of my middle knuckle on my right hand, and the damn thing blew up like a frigging balloon.https://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar...re-irs.356333/

I've read this thread twice start to finish now.
Once before and now after acquiring a 97 540i 6 with smashed left doors. How much $ would you estimate in extra parts to swap it into my 90 e30? I guess a high ballpark figure is what I'm looking for. If you have a second I'd appreciate your opinion. I know you fabricated a lot of stuff but any estimate would help.
Thanks for the sweet pictures can't wait for burnout videos.

I like to think my build has been nickle and dimed. But at a glance back I think I spent much more than I would like to admit. Thankfully Frank seems to have addressed this in his v8 swap guide book. He has it as high as $7,100. To low as $4,300. +/-
But you have a donor so subtract $1600 for the m6x + 6spd trans and that would be your ball park build cost.https://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar...re-irs.356333/

I was also able to pick up the needed little gromits to finish my throttle cable..
If all goes well. I plan on backing it out of my garage down the street and back then parking it in the garage, cause I'm sure by that time the COPS will be looking for me due to the lack of exhaust.... ;Dhttps://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar...re-irs.356333/
