Will be building a template/mockup for the lower manifold and looking into having it milled out of billet aluminum.
As well as the top mount plate.

Depends on if i can pull this off. This is my second attempt at putting an sc on this motor. But it also is a much easier and cheaper setup to build than my last attempt.

I'm working with another member here on r3v with this and he will be machining the final product.
We have not discussed anything pass my build. But i will let everyone know if we, him, or I offer this later.

Ok so I finally getting to the button up stage. Taking my time, trying to
do everything right and once..
yesterday I got the upper hose in and it fit like a glove...!
like it was made for this setup, now just waiting on the lower coming in the mail, and a new thermo...







I'm working on the manifold setup for the SC everything is looking really good. I think this setup will work and will also be much easier to build vs.
this other ideas I have been throwing around.
Now that being said doesn't mean it will be with out issue, but i will do my best to address the issues before this is offered...;D

Also due to the GIANT Christmas my 4yr old just had. Daddy is working with limited funds at the moment and needs to move some product before I can upgrade and build my SC. I'm going with the 1st gen M112 with MP112 guts and may need to run with a modified M90/112 snout. Sounds Crazy but when finished it should be spot on for our torque range and rev range.
I'll also be doing some porting of the housing and welding up the silencers.

finally sorted and got a ton of clearance between then header and lines

Ok a few more small updates..

First off I was able to find and purchase the remaining bit's needed to build the hybrid MP112/22 Eaton SC. More on that tomorrow when the parts show..;D

Today I found out that my water pump is crap. So i bought one and its on it's way. but in the mean time I was able to finish the lower hose setup.
I ended up using a lower hose off of the early 540i with about two inches cut out.

I also prepped the m112 housing for welding of the silencers and porting of the boost pressure passage. I have done alot of these in the past. Back when I was playing with American Iron I fell in love with the ease of moding up a motor with one of these and really waking up the motor with minimal effort. So i'm hoping i can really scare the shit of people with this car...
Nothing like making panties drop every time you pass an old age home! :pimp: It's tough to pull them back up while holding a walker~

Then I also got my hard to find bypass valve shaft in today..
you would not believe just how hard it is to find one of these..:roll:

So far the plan is MS3 from (whodwho) but i know the poor guy has been swamped with MS customers, so I haven't bothered him lately.
