    M20b25 fuel hoses

I need to replace the 2 fuel injection hoses in the engine bay that go to the fuel rail and fuel pressure regulator. Part number is 16121180409. They appear to be 8x13mm, and I need about 2 meters to do both. I cannot for the life of me find any aside from genuine bmw for these hoses. Bmw ones are $50 per meter. The CRP ones I used to get are discontinued and were like $10 per meter. What’s everyone going with for fuel hoses now?

8mm inner diameter is 5/16in. 5/16 fuel line is currently $2.29/ft where i live. likely cheaper where you are.

Like 82eye mentioned above, 5/16" fuel line does the trick. But, be careful getting it from an auto parts store, as parts store fuel line is typically only rated for less than 3bar, and your M20b25 runs at 3 bar. Also, I've found the parts store fuel line breaks down pretty quick due to the 10% ethanol content in most fuels these days.

I have been using the "evil energy" 5/16" line from amazon rated for more than enough pressure and is ethanol compliant as well.

      Don't skimp on fuel hose.

Thank you for that, I knew there had to be a cheaper way. Another member found the CRP 8mm ID hoses available online under a different part number. Have you ever used CRP for fuel hoses? I’m trying to gauge how many people have had problems with them. Hah I wish I’m in the Bay Area, nothings cheap here!

I know it has to be rated minimum 3 bar, I’m only looking to find alternate fuel hoses that are rated for that. But honestly for how long genuine fuel hoses last, I might just get them. I’m pretty sure the ones I’m looking to replace are the original factory hoses anyway, which don’t even leak to this day, I’m just replacing everything under the hood from the pistons up.

CRP is a good aftermarket supplier. I use their fuel hose in my BMWs with no problems.

I recall buying a piece from a dealer and they sold me 5/16 lol

Last I checked you could still buy CRP in 5m rolls from the usual suspects. Just make sure it's FI rated as that's the one that's ethanol compatible.
