You really should have performed all nessesary maintenance to your car first, dyno'd it and then dyno'd it after each mod. Otherwise you're cheap mods are invalidated because you did not properly control your "experiment"

Bingo.

This is why I think this whole thing is a joke. I'd almost guarentee you he gets more power out of a fresh fuel pump than the rest of the chintzy ricer ebay mods combined.

Hey guys,

Apexi SAFC 2 arrived today. I now have all the components i need except for the E34 auto throttle position sensor. Once I get that I can finish everything off and get the car dynoed on feb 25th. Should be interesting to see what happens. I will be sure to document the SAFC2 install (even though theres already a good one out there, i will add any insight i may have for the E30 application). Exhaust is getting done tomorrow.

heres a picture of the SAFC2, I got the black one b/c i thought it looked better but they are both the same price, just a matter of preference. Anyways, can't wait to install it. The results should be interesting.

I wanted a piggy back to fine tune for when i get the intake manifold project. Megasquirt is way too ghetto looking for my tastes and i didn't want a standalone so i chose a piggy back similar to a Uni-chip (but uni-chip is really $$). Thanks for the support guys, I can't wait to get the stuff installed.

no, i wish. again i stated previously the SAFC would be one of the exceptions to the rule, there aren't many exceptions to teh $50 rule but this is one of them just b/c the intake manifold will drastically change the power band so i wanted to have a piggy back to fine tune incase it started to run really lean b/c of all the extra air flow. should be interesting to see the results, i'll keep yall posted.
