no, i wish. again i stated previously the SAFC would be one of the exceptions to the rule, there aren't many exceptions to teh $50 rule but this is one of them just b/c the intake manifold will drastically change the power band so i wanted to have a piggy back to fine tune incase it started to run really lean b/c of all the extra air flow. should be interesting to see the results, i'll keep yall posted.
Is it possible to use the SAFC piggyback in order to swap an AFM for an MAF?

yes exactly, hence the reason I am getting it b/c i hate the AFM, it makes the car feel like it has a turbo with serious lag to 3500rpm. I don't feel much befor 3500rpm and the car doesnt really wake up till about 3500 then its a totally different story afterwards.
hey guys, I installed the removable steering wheel hub i got free with the purchase of the momo hub i got today. It is awesome, horn works great with it, and it actually looks very high quality (CNC). I also dropped the car off today at the exhaust shop and the full exhaust system is being installed and should be ready by tuesday or wednesday.

Details on exhaust setup? Price?
My fast says: traction control is for the faint of heart
ya, as following the $50 theme i had to keep all the components under $50. The ebay exhaust was $3 shipped :) , two resonators were $35, cat was $36, mandrel bent sections $18 a peice, and y-pipe was 40 shipped. Should be done tuesday or wednesday, then gonna coat everything in that high temp 1200F ceramic based paint (not as effective as the real stuf but it does actually help, i used it on my benz headers). Tt should help out quite a bit and protect from rust. Anyways pics coming early next week..
He's not. He's getting a custom one made, or so he said before...
So, the only real mods this guy is making to the car are well over 50 bucks. The rest is just chintzy ebay crap that will do nothing. I'm having a hard time following the point.

Exhaust: At least $150 for components, plus labour...
SAFC: $370 (because Megasquirt is too ghetto for this project!)
POS Tockico suspension: $350 or thereabouts
Custom intake manifold: $500 maybe? An actual quality intake manifold from John Volk is more like $1100...
So in reality, this is project half-ass.

Indeed.

Exactly, I could spend $50 for each bolt and call it a $50 Budget Beatoff project. Plus you could probably spend close to about what he's spending in total on an M50 engine swap and have bags more power to spare.
