They are stiffer but you are not going to notice anything negative. They are also a lot easier to install. -
If you are replacing your bushings why the hell would you do new OEM ones and then try to strengthen them when you could just buy urethane or delrin? I can see this strengthening crap if you want to leave your old bushings in, but not if you are replacing them....Originally posted by DaNI'm curious how these will work in new bushings.
I was also thinking about filling up new ones with epoxy or something, before installing them. Did someone say they used delrin? How does that process work?
Mark, I have the RTRS bushings that BavAuto sells and they are great.Comment

I explained the PVC "reinforcements" with my old high school buddy who works for the Grayson BMW $tealership as tech here in Knoxville and he didn't seem to see any problem with it especially when he compared it to the time they spend doing the OEM replacement job and how much they charge at the $tealership to do the job.Comment

They are 80 for street, 98 for race. Where do you see them for $53? The TA bushings are $52 - maybe you got the two confused?Originally posted by parkerbinkThe ie bushings are 53.00 for the set seems false savings to me.Current Cars2014 M235i2009 R56 Cooper S1998 M31997 M3Comment

How do you go about filling them with urethane?Originally posted by rs4pro3The E28 guys commonly, take the stock bushings, and fill the voids with urethane, makes the bushing stiffer but keeps the stock ride quality for the most part.
Is there a two part mix that can pour in? not familiar with the properties of urethane.

After re reading the ad seems you could just make these yourself. He makes them in his garage why couldn't anyone?

Sure, buy short length of pvc pipe, cut with tin snips.Originally posted by parkerbinkAfter re reading the ad seems you could just make these yourself. He makes them in his garage why couldn't anyone?
Where would I get the urethane mix?Originally posted by rs4pro3Yep it's a mix they pore in, just tape off one end pour in the urethane and let it sit a while. Pop on and enjoy, a few have been able to do it with everything still on the car.
