I bet I have been driving as long if not longer than you have been alive. May 1978 is when I got my License. I never had a problem like this in the States.

No cel, not possible to see the causes of my damage. I drive on unlit roads with severe imperfections and going over 5mph over these dips/speedbumps causes the car to bottom.

This is why the cabrio is going back to L.A. and the Tundra is coming back here. Clearance Clarance!

To fit this brace is there any modifications necesarry ?

Then the guy who asked about mounting points of the skid plate... well it mounts up on the sides inside the wheel well (2bolts each side), and on the subframe, with 2 bolts there

That was uncalled for. Stephan isn't your average 16 year old r3v member.

Seemed pretty obviously aimed at Stephan to me.

1" gap is too much if you lose 33% of your available clearance :P

Kyle I thought it seemed aimed at me, TJ did too if that was not your intent, ok but I think the oilpans are too low for such an important part that is so necessary to remain whole.

1 inch is clearly too little, as proved by the fact that many many oilpans have died needlessly.

Won't you end the slaughter? Young vibrant e30 oilpans are being killed daily on the streets of the world, you can help. By donating as little as .33 cents a day less than a cup of coffee............

Maybe coffee would be a better investment. Then we'd be more awake and we might see these oilpan monsters that hide in man holes and wait for our unsuspecting selves to wander by so they can bite a chunk out of our beloved cars. They've been known to hide in speed bumps and snow banks too...

A lot of times you see the object you are about to hit in plenty of time... there is just nowhere to go to avoid it.
