We're doing a photo shoot in the next couple of days now that the rain seems to be backing off a little.

No surprise, we run into PDF problems all the fucking time at work.

yeah they're notorious for scaling issues.. I tried two different printers and both came out slightly different. I'll use the slightly bigger one to give me some margin for error. :p

Question earlier as to what the caliper looks like in black powdercoat:

I like the red.. but it would stand out too much.

further, black > rusted stock calipers..

Well I was able to go by and photograph and drive the vehicle equipped with what I understand is the 'original prototype'. I will have the photos up in a thread here later but a review of the experience.

The first thing to note is the kit looks awesome in between the 15" DForce wheels. It has a presence with what I would call a large caliper just squeezed inside that small wheel. Looks really great. Having them mounted up inside my 16" polished slips would be quite the boner.

Quick jaunt in the vehicle let's me know how crappy my M20 powered Axxis Ultimate equipped E30 really is. The S52 is great. I can't wait for my M52. The brakes while driving normally are very civil. The pedal is firm but not overbearing. With the DTC30 Front/Hawk HP+ Rear there is noise when they get hot.

The real excitement comes from a spirited bit of acceleration followed by a romp on the brakes. The thing can stop and stop quick. Doing this 2 or 3 times in a row and the braking feel and braking performance only increases. Enjoyed my little ride and returned the vehicle.

Sorry I don't have any technical to add. I like the looks and I like driving or stopping if you will this vehicle with these brakes. I think I will have to get a set once I sort out my M52 swap. As someone who has tracked an E36 M3 with HT14/HT10 combo the feel of these brakes and performance I would bet you can actual dual purpose track the DTC30/HP+ combo in an E30. Rob tells me the pads for the front are a mere 60ish dollars. I haven't had a chance to look that up but damn. That is cheap... considering the cost of HT14/HT10 combo on my E36 M3. The fun would only be increased at the track... need to get back there.

                          Pics soon.

I had been considering a BBK for a while now and was waivering between Massive's & UUC's. This was a very informative thread and after reading through the debate and rebuttals, I feel that I made the most logical decision.

Thanks Rob for your help today! Looking forward to the UUC kit:D

                              Nice, in for pics.

I used to think red calipers were played out, but I actually like the red more than the black so far. Only problem is the single piston sliding calipers in the rear would look stupid painted red to match. Oh well.
                              paint sucks
