    Wheel fitment help

I know this was probably covered 1000 times before on here, but i still have a big confusion on wheels and fitment of wheels.

I am looking right now at a set of Work Meister S1 wheels. specifically the S1R or the S1 P2. both look amazing to me and the 15-16 inch range of wheel is what im after. I found these from evasive motorsports, but I am very unsure of the size and offset limits for the front and the rear. I would prefer the 16 inch S1R, but the offsets for them are probably too large. Here is a link and if anyone can help me out I would appreciate it. I am running a stock body, on Ground Control coilovers about 1.5 inches below stock ride height right now, but wanting to be lower. also -2 degrees camber in the front. Wheels are the only thing I struggle to wrap my head around when it comes to a car. if anyone can help me sort out the sizing on these wheels and what I can run on the S1R or S1 P2 I would be very thankful.

In my opinion wheel selection is based on tyre selection. Not many tyres at all left in 205 55 r15 which is the oem size. 205 50 r15 is much more common but is a bit small i think for daily drive.

15x7+25 is a good size to aim for i think. Anything less than about +13 (sticking out) is too agressive, anything more than 25 (sticking in) looks a bit shit and getting close to the strut.

The best thing to do to learn is play with this site,

    https://www.1010tires.com/Tools/Wheel-Offset-Calculator

and plug in your oem wheels and compare to whatever wheels think you want to buy, bottle caps are 14x6 +35 as per below

The BMW E30 wheel style options was vast over its production life. From coupe to sedan to the M3 variants, all wheel style options are presented below.

thanks, i just dont know much about it, i plan to run some pretty small tires, its not a daily its meant to be a street car i may run at the track once or twice a year. i also don't entirely know the current specs on my current wheels as they are customized 3pc Style 5s that the previous owner never gave me info on. they stick out a bit bc of the stance i have in the front. so should i try to get some 15x8 +25 if available? or a 16x8 + 51? my problem is the wheel i want is wayyy to wide to stuff inside the rear if i wanted to, and it would probably hit the strut as well in the front. legit never really done the math on it before so im not sure

        I'm running a square set up with a 16x8 +20et with a 205 50. The rear rubs slightly.

        You can use

        https://www.fitmentindustries.com/?u...SAAEgKFfvD_BwE

They have images of what others are running. Plus you can talk to them and they can walk you through what you'll need. I also believe that they will source wheels that they currently do not show on their page. But they carry a ASS-Ton of stuff.

This information is everywhere. Everyone and their brother has some variation of basketweave/multi-x/whatever you want to call that pattern and a lot of them posted about their setups on here, you will not wind up with a unique combination no matter what you do. Yes, tire availability is a big factor these days. Find something about stock diameter and work backward to find a wheel it will fit. It's what I did. FWIW 205/50 is narrow for a 16x8 and there's no reason to do that, I run 225/45, but I also only run 200 treadwear tires so I have zero clue what availability looks like for people who run normal people tires. Yes, I rolled my rear fenders because they'll rub otherwise, no it isn't hard to do.

Thanks, I know the specs I want but the info on evasive motorsports website is confusing when it tells me the offset of the wheel, saying its Offset +68 ~ +17 and idk why it shows two different offsets on a single wheel. i am gonna get 15x8 +20 and tires are gonna be 205's or slightly smaller. just wanted to know about that offset thing bc I have never seen something show two offset numbers?

EDIT: nevermind im a fucking idiot i need to learn to read ffs. i forgot its custom size offset its telling me i can choose between +17 and +68 offset.
