I'd sell my jlines if someone is looking for wheels. I am dying to do something to my mcoupe.

doing well. The jlines are in the garage because I still have my winter wheels on. I've been sinking money into my ix like crazy doing maintenance.

with my 17x8 et30 I could not clear anything larger than 215/40 without some work. My fenders and flares are untouched. A little rolling MIGHT make room for a 235/40 which would be sweet.

you can definitely do 235s on an ix. it's just really tight!

I'm not sure my offset is right for 235's. it would be really really tight. Also probably a more narrow 235 would be a good choice.

So I realize this is an old thread. I'm currently running 16x7 et 35 borbet A's on my ix. I came a crossed another ix that was pretty well sorted for a great price, so i bought it. I picked up some 17" alpine kopi's from craigs list, just curious as to if the et is really 20 on the rims. (NO MARKINGS ON THE RIMS) What size hubsentric spacer do I need or can i mount up with out any issues? Thanks a bunch....

They're 17x7.5. They will rub hardcore in the rear, although they will bolt up fine.

A spacer will make it worse, not better. You want an et35 in that size wheel.

Ok what if i run a 205 40 17 tire will that help? the car is on stock springs n sport shocks. Or am I just going to rub no matter the tire size?

Just that I've seen pictures of ix's with alpina kopi's, maybe they have ix specific wheels with et 35?
