Looking at a set of wheels, specs are:

    15x8
    et0

I will be running them on my 91 318is.. the lowest offset I can run is 15 right? so I will need 15mm spacers for this set up to work?

What is the exact size of 17" BBS LM I need to fit properly on a 1992 E30 convertible? No aftermarket body kits/updates. The suspension is currently stock, but I am planning on Bilstein shocks with H&R springs in the near future.

Also, any idea where to find a set finished in gold with a polished lip?

Thanks for any and all help!
First, you find what the wheels are available in, then come and ask if they fit.

Other way around. Those wheels sit too far out as it is.

My apologies, not a problem. It seems the only 17" BBS LM I can find are originally for a Mini Cooper...? They are 17x7.5", 4x100, ET 40, with 56.1 centerbore. Please don't hesitate to let me know if you need additional details to determine whether or not those would work on a '92 E30 convertible. Thanks!

I'm a little confused, sorry. If the offset is +0mm on the wheels, then they sit too far out? So they won't fit at all regardless of spacers.

Hi, i need your advice. Just picked up two sets of wheels. Both are 15".

I have a KW V1 coilover suspension so i can adjust height and plan on having about an 1" between tire and fender. I live in NJ and some roads here suck so i dont mind raising the car up. I would like to have a good cushion to absord those damn potholes lol.

              Set #1 specs:
              15x7 et 15

              Set #2 specs:
              15x7 et 12

              Thanks in advance!

                momo podium's

                Hey Guys,

I’m looking to get a set of Momo Podium’s for my 1988 e30 Cabrio. I’m installing a set of H&R Sport springs & shocks that will lower the car about an 1.5”.

One wheel distributer told me that Momo’s won’t fit on an e30 – that he had tried himself and that they simply won’t fit. Another distributer said that they will fit no problem. The wheels are 15x7, 4x100, et 25. The hub bore is 73.1.
Has anyone tried these wheels? With a centering ring, is there any reason why these wouldn’t fit? As it’s a daily driver I’m only going to run 205/55/15’s.
You’re collective knowledge is much appreciated.

                Shawn

You would need to have custom spacers machined to compensate for the smaller centerbore on the Mini. They would need to be 20mm thick and 57.1mm on the hub side and 56mm on the wheel side.

Exactly. Spacers reduce offset numerically, making your situation worse.

205/55 is stock size and cushion-y but I think will just rub given your offsets. I'd suggest 195/55 (ideal for more sidewall) or 205/50. No fender rolling.

Yup, all you need are 73mm-57.1mm centering rings. Even 225/50 fits.

                          Thanks Mystikal,

That's what I thought. The one distributor obviously didn't know what he was talking about.

                          I'm ordering my wheels today!

Oh okay, I thought spacers ADDED offset, not reduced. So the lowest offset an E30 can run is 15 and 35 is the highest?

Man, if it were that easy you wouldn't be the 7127th post in this thread :p

That answer depends on wheel width, wheel diameter, tire size, E30 model, ride height, suspension setup...etc.
