      Is that because if fender clearance? Or offset?

        Both, by nature. I guess to answer another way yes, of course E30s can fit larger that 215/40 under their fenders.

            17x8.5 ET13 all round

            Will be on H&R race/Billy Sports / E30 M3 gear.

            Thinking 205/40/17 and a fender roll f/r should see me right?

              215/40 will fit with a good fender roll, have to run a 5mm spacer in front for that wheel. I have 2 sets of those same wheels.

              Going onto early or late rear fender arch? With that same suspension setup I am getting some rubbing on the rear with that tire size and late model rear archs. Dont want to go down in tire size, so looking to go with coilovers and stiffer springs to prevent rubbing on throttle and through hard turns.

                Late model arches. I'm running the 8.5 ET17 rear on a 215/40 right now (see sig) and it rubs slightly.

                That the same suspension setup in your sig?

                  Higher net offset wheels. +25 is ideal for 235/40s.

                    Yup, 205/40 for a late model on E30 M3 hubs with those wheels.

                      Mystikal, I found a unique set of 15s, here are the dimensions rqst help again;

                      15X9.5
                      4x100
                      there is an option for offset, which is best 15 or 25? I'm thinking 15?
                      And which tire would be best?
                      Spacers needed?

                        15, and you'll likely need 10-12mm spacers for the fronts to clear the struts. 205/50 tires.

                          Yes same setup. But in the Sig I have 235/40/17 on msystems. I had to tweak the h&r race setup to make it sit that way, PM me for details.

                            We'll I already have 2 sets of wheels with offsets lower than that. Can I make it work with the fender roller?
