Will 205/50/16 be too big after I lower with H&R Sports? Since you've owned RX's before, what do you think about them?

Perhaps I could rebalance the tires with the wheel weights on the outer lips (cringing that it will ruin my nice old school rims) while using the spacers? I would need some extra long lug bolts as even the longish ones that fit the Sport Edition wheels would only grab by a few threads.
EDIT: the Minilite knockoffs are 14x6 with 26mm offset.
What do you think?

With those complications, I'd honestly just give up trying to use them. The cheap opt-out would be a set of basketweaves, or if you really want the Minilites grab some of those 15x7 E30 ones popping up.

So, about to splurge on a set of 16X9 et15 for all corners. After test mounting, the fronts will require a set of H&R 5mm spacers, and the rears go on without a hitch.
My question to you is what are the widest tires I can fit on these wheels without undergoing any serious fender massaging. Just a basic fender rolling is all I will have done. But if I can get away with it, I would love to run a 245 in the rear, or something like that. If not that, can I get away with 235s all around?Claus Luthe is my hero.

I was looking through 18racing.com and saw the rota d2's. They have them in 16x7 and 4x100 but they don't offer 57.1 hub. only the 56.1. Is a hub adapter needed and also has anyone used these? i think they would look clean.

Those RX's were my first aftermarket wheels, I went through several sets after that. Right now (and probably forever, had them for 2 years now) I have 15x7 ET20 BBS RZ378s, with polished lips (refinishing by euro3). My favourite E30 wheels, at least for a stock-bodied car. :)

Also, make sure you look at a picture of D2's from an angle. The pics they use on sites often show them head-on, and it looks like they have this awesome dish...they don't. The spokes curve back 90 degrees right at the lip, they look really weird in person. They make a few 17x8 and 17x8.5 fitments that will actually bolt up to our cars without spacers, and if they weren't so ugly I'd have bought a set. Just a heads up.
