Thanks for the information earlier... I ummed and ahhed about what wheels to get, then last night I picked up some BBS RM012's with a 2.5" lip and a 3" lip, meaning that I'll have 15x8.5 et8or9 up front, and 15x9 et2.25 out back!

The question is what size tyres would you deem suitable I was thinking 205/50/15s up front and 215/50/15 out back? I'm imagining my arches need to be flared to fit the wheels and tyres too?

The car is lowered 60/40.

Good offset calculations. Tire sizes are good, and yes you'll be flaring the arches a bit.

Front: offset 24.
Rear: offset 11.

My concern is spacers and such. What will I need to make these work? Or will they just not?

I'd like my fenders full of wheel and I have no problem rolling.
Just no flaring.. SLIGHT pull is okay.

Ha, stop looking at E9x spec wheels. They'll look good though, and no spacers needed.

Those 18s are tough fitments. Looking at lots of stretch and rolled guards, likely pulled rears. 225s will be about the limit, or find some rare 235/35s. Either way it'll be work but it'd look sick.

The 17s are boring, but you could run huge rubber (245/40 front, 255/40 rear). Would just need a minor rear roll.

I just picked up some C4 corvette wheels. 16x8.5" 32mm and I'm going to be using 18mm or 20mm adapters. What's the meatiest tire I could run without fender mods, for 18mm or 20mm adapters? Thanks so much.

I'm not too low at all, there's a pretty good gap up front, less of a gap in back. 1991 E30 318is for reference.

Even with 18mm adapters, 205/45s will require a fender roll in the back.

Hubs are the same, wheels will work fine without spacers. They will be VERY sunken into the fenders though, you'll see.

205/45 is the common size, but 205/50 should sit better with your wheel gap concern.

Hubcentric rings should be it. Make sure they don't need tuner lugs.

I got the ones from ebay, I read on here that people just use the stock bolts and dont even need hubcentric rings...where do i buy these? any tire place? 57.1? right?

This is just me being safe and double checking my search results. a 16x9 et15 will fit in the back of my 89 with nicely stretched 215/40's. even with a 2" drop? looking into getting ESM 008's stagered. any tire brand recomendations? i imagine some behave better than others when stretched.

Question is...
I want to run 225 50 15's(Falken Ziex 912 if brand matters)
Will I have rubbing issues without rolling the fenders?
Got a better tire size suggestion for the best looking wheel arch fill?

Those 912s will work without fender rolling on your early arches. If it was another tire, it wouldn't work (those are only 9.0" wide, while others are 9.2-9.3") and if it was a late model, it wouldn't work. Sounds like a perfect match to me.

Okay, sorry but, what if I were to go H&R Race instead and change nothing else?
Would the drophats then be overkill?
Would the fenders then need to be rolled?
Any suggestions?
