    Do i need spacers?
HEAVY rear roll, no front roll. You might need small spacers to clear the front calipers if your pads are new.

I've got the spring rates and tires covered, thanks! I just wanted to make sure it was possible without serious fender modification.

        Hi!

I would really appreciate if you could please tell me if i will have to roll my fenders or not -

        tire spec:

        15x7j with 195/50 all around

as i am planning to drop it 100/80(front ~3.9 inches that is)

Current springs are supposed to be 80/75mm lower than stock and i have about 30 mm of clearance in front and i am not satisfied with the look. Not really worrying about the back as the wheels are sort of "tucked in"(thanks to camber).
But it would be cool if could avoid rolling fenders in front as i don`t like how they look that way, i rather not drop it then.

Edit: Basically what I am confused about is - is the current setup actually as low as it was said to be?

        Thanks in advance!

16x8 et20 all around on late model. I don't plan on running spacers, but I was wondering about tire choices. I could run a slight stretch with a 215/45/60, a bit more stretch with a 205/45/16 (Many more tire options that are much cheaper), or run no stretch with a 225/45/16. I am worried about having to roll the fenders for a 225 and 215 though. Any input on this? Also, the tires selection for these sizes aren't too great, any recommendations for tires as well? Thanks again.

205/40/16 Falkens. It's the perfect tire for a 16x8 wheel IMO.

              rear 17x10 20mm

Would these need any spacers and or will they rub. What size tires would be best for this.

              Thanks,

No spacers. Typical setup is 205/40 front and 225/35 rear. It's an extreme stretch, and you will need to have the rear quarters pulled a bit, especially on a late model.
225 front 255 rears possible with severe fender rolling/pulling?

Sorry for sounding like a complete no hoper but I need a hand with this. I'm thinking of purchasing a set of BBS RS replicas for my 1985 318i (2-door) from a place that is advertising them as being made for the E21 and E30...however I've been told that the two models require completely different offsets, and I'm not fully up to speed on how all that works.

So I guess, to make it easy, what offset do I need for my car and secondly, will these wheels do the job (see below)?

                Much appreciated.

                BMW 3 SERIES E21,E30 - BB5 RS 15 INCH
                SIZE: 15×7

                PCD: 4/100

                OFFSET: +20

                CENTREBORE: 73.1

Those should work reasonably well on both the E21 and E30. The E30 specific original 15x7" RS fitment was ET25 (RS-001), while the E21 was ET16 (RS-070) if I recall correctly.
The ET20 would make the fittment very slightly more flush than the original RS-001 on an E30 but is well within the range of doing (Alpina's 7" wide E30 wheels were also an ET20).
At the same time an ET20 on an E21 would be doable (it should clear the steering rod-ends) but might require a small (5-10mm) spacer to make it look not so inset in the wheel-well.
In either event you will however require hubcentric rings to bring the centerbore down to 57.1mm

I have a '91 318 on IE Stage III springs. Wheels are Hartge 16x7.5 with ET 25.

What size tire do you recommend? They have 225/45R16 on them now. Any rubbing with my car or am I good to go with that size?

                    Thanks!

That size is perfect on the E30 & no rubbing. Only problem is they are rather limited in manufacturers of that size.

Thanks! Yeah, I noticed that TireRack only had two that weren't R comps. But, both looked fine so that's good to go.

                            a lot

It doable, but 10s would be more ideal at et10 or even 20

ohh i've seen those wheels. If you want to do it, pull them, probably all the way or close. The fronts shouldnt need much if any pull.
