I'm running 16x7.5" CR-7 rims with an et30 offset, I want to run 225-50R16 Dunlop Direzza Starspecs, am I going to need 10 mm spacers up front?

Well I found a deal on a set of esm 009r's, 16x8/16x9 staggered setup et20 front and et15 rear. Tires in the front are 205/45/16 and the rear are 215/40/16. Will this look stupid on my car? I am lowered on H&R sports and was wondering if there would be too much gap. Thanks.Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

205/45 and 225/40 will work fine.

Is a 10mm spacer a lot and safe

I'm a noob to tire fitment. How much of a problem would the scrubbing be if I was doing auto-x? I mean I'd be using a lot of steering lock and what not.
I guess my other option is to run Kumho Ecsta XS's or Falken Azenis RT-615k's since they're available in 215 45 r16.Last edited by Adrian_Visser; 02-22-2011, 07:21 PM.

Trying to see if I could possibly fit 17x8's et18 with a tad bit of poke.
Okay this same setup but I bought some 15x7 Enkie 92 reps. I had to choose offset 0 or 20. I knew 0 would poke and Im not planning on stretching tires becuase that would be dumb on 7 wide, so I got offset 20. As for tires Im thinking 205/50/15, ive run this size on 15x8's with a hair of stretch so this should look normal. I do have rolled fenders and theres a good chance im gonna wanna run spacers to get sortaflush, i was thinking 10's or 15's, thoughts?

Wheels are 7x15 ET35
Car is 1989 325i
Can I put 225 width tires on the back and 215 on the front?
What about sidewall? Should I get the smallest sidewall possible or the thickest?
How about 40 or 50 for the sidewall?
Car is just used as a daily driver for now.Zinno '89 <24v swap in progress>
