Side note would the setup in the post above mine (16x8 et10) work without spacers?

Basically is just like to know what wheels i can run without spacers as id prefer not to run them for safety/illegality reasons.
6.5" +40 can clear, but it would look ridiculous. Do not do that!

    16x8 +10 works. I recommend 16x8 +15 with a 205/45 as a great middle ground setup.

Very tight fit in the rear, but your 570lb/in worth of spring rate should help. I'd go for it.

Ok this is my first try lets see if I can get you everything. I'm ok with a little fender rolling but I don't want to go crazy, and do I need adapters to run these. So my question is what size tires should I run and what width do I need to order my adapters?

Will 16x8.5 et32 and 16x9.5 et 38 corvette salad shooters fit with adapters? Will in need spacers? How much of a roll/pull?

            Spacers for 15"x6.5" ET33

I have 15"x6.5" ET33 BBS RZ wheels (VW Corrado) mounted with 205-55/15 tires. None of my fenders are flared and I don't plan to. I've calculated the offset difference between my wheels and the factory euroweaves gives me about 15mm difference. Given that, what width of spacer would be appropriate to move the wheels out a bit closer to the fender without rubbing?
            Thanks!

What's a good tire size for 15x8 et25 wheels? Car will be lowered on jom springs/shocks on my 87 325 vert. Don't drive aggressively so I don't need super meaty tires or anything like that.

I have a 225/40 and 215/40 but they look to low profile going by above posts. Was hoping to fit the 225 on the rear, will need a bit of work but not to worried as the car is going for a full respray.

I think 215/45 is the right size tire? How would 225/45 fit on the rear? Not a big fan of stretching tires + 215/45 are expensive (more so than 225/45) unless I go 205/45 which might be a bit much of a stretch?

I'll also be running with ix arch flares (not a ix E30), hoping to have the wheel nice and flush, bit of poke would be ok. Have camber adjustment out rear which I was hoping to use to dial out camber, I've a little bit of room to do arch work before I run into probs with the ix flares.

                  two questions:

                  89 325i coupe
17x8 et 20, What size spacer would you recommend for a flush fit? Tire size?

16x8 et 48, what size adapter?
edit: would a 20mm adapter work? leaving a final offset of +28
                  Thanks a lot!

                    I have a 1990 325is and am going to buy 16x8 wheels.

question is i need to know what offset
ET 0? OR ET 20? im leaning towards ET20 because the lip on the wheel is 2.75 vs 2.50 on the ET20. HELP!

Thinnest adapters are typically 18-20mm, so you'll end up with a 15-17 final offset. This is doable with a 205/50 tire and a rear fender roll.

20mm all around should be good. 195/45 F 215/40 R. Just a flat rear roll.

                          15mm is fine.

You'll need 3-5mm spacers to clear the front struts. 205/55 or 205/50.

The taller the sidewall, the more fender work you will have to do. 225/45 will require HEAVY fender modification. I typically suggest 205/45 for a good balance of ground clearance and wheel well appearance.

                                It's hard to get 8" truly flush, especially 17s. I'd suggest 5mm F 15mm R with a 195/45 all around.

16s will need 25mm to clear the struts safely.
