    Hey guys,

I'm looking at a set of 17x8 et 34 5x120 rims for my E30 sedan with billly sports and h&r sports. I'm going to run 20mm adapters for a total offset of 14. Can you forsee any issues with the struts and my unrolled fenders? Would you suggest 215/40/17, or 225/40/17 (if they exist)?

    Thanks.

falken 512s really suck and have terrible wet traction. don't cheap out on tires, you can still get decent ones in 14" sizes just have to spend a bit more.

I am doing the RX-7 BBK kit and I was wondering if 15x8 et25 would fit or would I need 15mm spacers? They are Stance Mindset Wheels.

          Back for more wisdom!

ESM 008 16x9 all around, 15mm offset. 205-40-16 tires. Going for flush look, hopefully without a fender roll in the rear.
Spacers? New tire size? I was considering running a 205-45-16 but these tires are already on the wheels and ready to go.

          Thanks!
          No antenna? I sell plugs!

            205/45. Yes, 16x9 up front.

No issue with the struts but you will very very close to rubbing without rolling. 215/40 or 205/45.

Brake clearance has nothing to do with wheel specs but rather the shape of the spokes (and there is no quantitative measure of this easily available). I can tell you that these wheels leave almost zero caliper clearance even with stock brakes so you're probably going to have a bad time.

3mm front spacers with most suspensions (BCs don't need it). You can use the 205/40s but you will have very little oil pan clearance once you lower it enough to get rid of wheel gap at the fender (think 1" or less clearance).

Thoughts on 16x9 et 15 on a late model? My fenders have been rolled to fit 17x8 et25 with 235/40 Star Specs.

As for tire sizes, I'm thinking 215/40 S.drives or 215/45 Falken 615's. Any recommendations? Maybe a different tire size?

Thanks! I've got 195/65/14 installed w/ tax at discount fo $380.00 currently.

A firestone store has the same tire for $465.77 but HIGHLY recommended the Bridgestone Insignia SE200's. This would be for $421.33.

                        Any thoughts on the Bridgestones?

                          235/40/17 or 235/45/17's on ARC-8's?

HR Race, billies, no extra drop stuff. Rear fenders rolled, have camber adjustment potential front and rear.
I don't always wreck cars, but when I do I wreck them into trees.

3mm front spacers, and I usually recommend 205/45. The two sizes you mentioned can also work, the latter if you have rolled enough and have a relatively high spring rate (500+, linear).

                                They belong on Corollas.
