lol fair enough.
the conversation belongs more in the political forum than this thread. it centers on the current administration's plan to create a crypto reserve backed by the US treasury. in short it is coupling a known volatile asset with no intrinsic value to US treasury bonds and ultimately the US dollar as collateral. if/when a crypto crash were to occur under the new scenario it takes the US monetary system down with it, and the global trading system which is based on the US dollar.

I don't care about the actual point you're making, but when you have to include a defense of your statement, by blatantly saying "It's not a tin foil hat theory"... I immediately think it is a tin foil hat theory lolLeave a comment:

don't hold your breath, there's a very real chance crypto could crash the monetary system. it's not a tin foil hat theory either, western economists outside the US are increasingly raising the alarm over it.Leave a comment:

well, yes, and these days that doesn't seem to be too far off from the real world, either.90%+ of my interactions with people have been horrible.
It's happened, R3V- I'm too old, and get that cloud out of my sky!
Maybe if we all sent him pizza? The ONE interaction EVERYONE on Facebook needs to have is to send Mr James Crivellone a message urging him to improve R3V
Can you buy a new server with pizza yet???
t
one day soon, we'll be back to the barter economy. Hoard your old radiator hoses...

haha you said that on the second post of my thread, and I basically did -
Still a pain in the ass though, I have to basically ream out the tube with the dipstick and wipe it ~10 times before I get a semi-clear reading.
More alarming - Even though it measured at the halfway mark, way too little oil came out when I changed it last, so once it's back on the ground I'm going to treat it as though anything below the top bulb is low.Leave a comment:

Has anyone looked into making a backup of r3v just to guard against any future link-rot?Leave a comment:
