Been using 5/16 30R10 for fuel rail / external stuff, 30R9 for submersible in tank applications (also 5/16) and 30R7 (3/16) for some evap tank vent purposes (E32 in my case)
Will keep an eye on how it lasts, but been using that stuff off and on for a few years and still looks good as new.
PSA About FCP Fuel Hoses

I ordered 3 meters of windshield washer fluid lines from FCP last year; It's sold by the meter and I bought a quantity of 3. Some idiot went out and measured/cut three 1m length of hose and shipped it to me.
I complained and requested them to send a single piece, but their customer service rep tried to tell me it comes precut. I told them it would be insane for a hose manufacturer to precut instead of putting it on a reel, and I asked them if they had gone to the floor to see if it was actually precut or on a reel. I eventually received a single 3m hose in the mail.😂 1Leave a comment:

4 years old when it failed.
Hi all. I work for CRP in the product division, but have been a R3v member since long before I started with the company. Therefore, I'm not on here looking to speak on behalf of the company. I'm just here as an E30 guy like everyone else here.
But I wanted to say that I see all these issues you've all mentioned, and I will make sure to have CRP look into them. A lot of CRP's fuel lines are coming from OEM/OES manufacturers in Germany. For example, the 8x13 hose 13537563456 which I personally use in my turbo car. So I suspect it's only a select few that may be troublesome.Last edited by reelizmpro; 11-12-2025, 02:00 AM.Leave a comment:

Been using Evil Energy or OEM line whenever possible. Have had no issues with either.Leave a comment:

Same story here as well.Is it CRP brand? The CRP stuff is horrible quality, we've had to redo so many systems that have had CRP hoses installed in less than a years time.
We have been using the OEM hoses from BMW, they're expensive ($18/ft) but they seem to hold up very well. The green strip adds a nice OEM look to the car as well. PN 16121180409Leave a comment:

it is fairly irrelevant just considering the brand without the spec the hose is to and whether it actually meets it. That's why i always bite the bullet and buy the genuine stuff 13537563456 or 16121180409. You might be able to find the exact hose from conti or someone but then again it may not be exactly the sameLast edited by digger; 11-04-2025, 01:45 PM.Leave a comment:

Hearing all the bad experiences with CRP I've tried to stay away from their products. I installed some Cohline from FCP recently hearing it was better. I guess time will tell.
AutohausAZ sells a bunch of Continental fuel hose that I've not had any problems with - some braided in different sizes too.Leave a comment:

Interesting. The new (Genuine) reservoir to clutch master cylinder hose I got from FCP and put in my E34 when I manual swapped it in 2021 started leaking and created a hell of a mess, I thought it was just leaking at the reservoir nipple but there was nothing wrong with the hose ends when I pulled it, it seemed like the hose had softened and was leaking through the body of the hose somewhere and wicking down the braid. I think all of my fuel hose is gates, I bought a roll of it years ago. That hose is a royal pain to replace in an E34, there is very little clearance.Leave a comment:
