    At least the weeds look friendly.... my bus was covered in multi-flora rose. That sucked ass. It looked like I got my ass kicked by a porcupine;)

              318i/325/e/eS/i/iS/M3...they all had pop outs from 84 upto 90. It's an 84-85 318i/325e.

                            Don't count on too much documentation of maintenance. 'Just budget for the major stuff like a timing belt, waterpump, and rubber parts that carry weight.

                            Keep in mind the more often you stop by looking at the car, taking pictures, etc, the more you show your hand. At this point I'd drop by one more time to meet the boss and, if you miss him, leave a number. Dream up a story about needing a beater or something and comment that this car looks like it's in good shape; play dumb and comment on the paint or something and make loud mention of a small budget for a fixer-upper.
