You're missing the point of this thread. The idea is very simple. What 2004-05 model year car would you by for yourself if you were given $50k? The point is put yourself in the state of mind of wanting to buy a $50k (or near it) car, then you can really have some fun with it. So what car would you go for the gusto on if given the chance? :D -

Although I am less than thrilled about the styling, I have to agree with a bunch of you and pick the C6. Preferably a no-option Z06 if it squeaked under $50K, but that probably wouldn't happen. At least not in its initial year (dealer mark-up is the devil). So then I'd have to go with a fully loaded base C6. You can't get a better/faster/cooler/more nimble car for that kind of dough.
I suppose a $35K Evo MR with $15K in mods would be wicked fun, but I would still feel like a fool driving around in one. They just look too goofy. They need a two-door version, like the older STi's.Comment
