Otherwise i was just gonna buy one in the uk...Originally posted by James CrivelloneOriginally posted by Moti wanna get a mtech 1 too, but luckily im going to germany next summer, so i'll just pay to get raped via shipping costs, but make it up in the money i'll save finding it in europe.
Good luck, I saw 1 Mtech1 car in Germany, yes..ONE...and the 3 wrecking yards I went to did not have any mtech bmw's (well one t-boned mtech2 that was stripped)

C Mon, even those pieces r hard to find here in SA, let alone these guys finding them over in the statesOriginally posted by calypsoGet a 333i, just say one the other day. Or maybe the aluminium non flared fenders for the 325is here. BTW our 325is's have 5 lug wheels.

Wow, lots of responses, thanks guys :)
To answer one question, rare as in hard to find, sought after, desired, not rare as in not often seen - usually not often seen means its ugly :)
Any of you with rare parts that might consider selling them, PM me.
Thanks again for all the responses, kind of cool to learn about the other countries too, like the 5 lug hubs, and the aluminum fenders, etc.
Keep em goin guys :)Comment

Well Jeez, I've got some of those "rare" parts and didn't even know they were rare. I have the organizer tray, first aid kit, & warning triangles in the blue box. AND an Alpina E30 footrest. All from the 88 325iS I just bought with 34,600 miles from a fellow that picked it up while he was a GI in Germany in 1988. Also have the 15X7 BBS basketweaves. Alpina footrest I've had for years: never mounted. Everything for sale except the BBS wheels. PM with offers. :shock:Comment
