To answer one question, rare as in hard to find, sought after, desired, not rare as in not often seen - usually not often seen means its ugly :)
Any of you with rare parts that might consider selling them, PM me.
Thanks again for all the responses, kind of cool to learn about the other countries too, like the 5 lug hubs, and the aluminum fenders, etc.

Well Jeez, I've got some of those "rare" parts and didn't even know they were rare. I have the organizer tray, first aid kit, & warning triangles in the blue box. AND an Alpina E30 footrest. All from the 88 325iS I just bought with 34,600 miles from a fellow that picked it up while he was a GI in Germany in 1988. Also have the 15X7 BBS basketweaves. Alpina footrest I've had for years: never mounted. Everything for sale except the BBS wheels. PM with offers. :shock:
