From what I've heard they're easy to find. Working ones, however, are pretty damn difficult.
 would it be bad if I said I'd still take a pair even if they didn't work? :)

But seriously. How did they operate to begin with? Did they just come on when you turned your regular wipers on, or did they have a seperate button/switch? Never seen one before - hence my question.
    Ask James Crivellone. :D

    Sorry James, I had to.

The complete wiper kit is 1200.00 plus dollars. Was 600.00 4 years ago. I have all part numbers somewhere on my server.

Some of the other rare parts such as the headlight adjusters suck.

Did anyone mention the extra fuel tank or battery reserves.

How about just importing or make a clone of the Italian 320is with all of this cool stuff?

Importing is no fun, Ask me how I know and how big my Shurgard bill in the UK is.

              Where? On message boards?

I know I don't see that many E30s at all on the road, and if I do they're all run down pieces of shit and my clean car stands out anyways.
some people don't understand this. a clean 100% stock E30 is more unique and better looking than 90% of the ones I see every day..

Word. But a nicely modded one is even moreso unique.

The last time I saw an E30 that was clean and 100% stock was almost exactly one year ago. The rest I see are beatup diving board bumper cars with blaring radios with busted speakers.

Keep it clean, and you got yourself a "unique" car.
                Reminiscing...

You're all right, out on the road I don't see any E30's besides beaters really. But yes, on the boards, a clean E30 will get respect, but what really stands out is making it different from the rest of them. Unique colors, parts, etc.

TJ, I would make sure they worked before I put the "bulky" wipers on. Just curious to see what went into the system, what could be fabbed/rewired, etc.

That's way too much. Maybe a used set will fall into my lap.

Extrta fuel tank scares me. Battery reserve - never heard of it.

Respect on the boards? Who gives a shit.

                          Real life > Message boards

You'll discover this one day, hopefully.

                            Speaking of respect...

I know real life matters more than message boards. The only time I come on the boards is when I'm working - 11p-7a. It's not like I start hyperventilating if someone makes fun of my car or something.

What I mean is, real life doesn't have much appreciation for E30s. Not many people (at least in my area) own one, or see any value in them. Most of my friends think I'm an idiot because I drive a 20 year old car with some rust and lots of things that need fixing, and don't look nearly as good as other cars on the road for half of what I put into them.

Do I agree? No. So I look to the boards for people that share my same opinion of the E30. That's why I say that the boards are where I go to get opinions and respect for my car and mods. Not because I live in some fantasy world where R3V is life.

                              I have a car with a CR m20 gearbox...

I'll sell you the whole car, but the gearbox is the rare part. 8)

Orrrr maybe I'll just install it in my car. ;)
                              Below the radar...

You're determined to beat me at my own game, eh :)

Where is this CR car? Any EURA BUMPAHS?

We need to get a GTG going - maybe give like a months notice so a few heads can make it.
