    Thanks a lot for the reply, what is cai? (Noob)
    Also are e30 frames high quality? Should I be worried about frame issues in the case that I purchase this vehicle

      Cai = cold air intake

      E30 frames are just like any other frame, no issues.

      Just makes sure there aren't any bends or breaks in the frame, other than that rust is all that you have to worry about. These cars came with ridiculously strong undercoating, at least mine did. 205k miles in Cincinnati and my framecoating is in perfect shape.

      Definitely check the carfax, Idk if I believe the seller, car looks alil trashy for 57k. Engine bay looks good though.

        later model wheel and shift knob, front and rear seats don't seem to match, holes on the front and I didn't see any on the rear seats, if the car had sport seats, why don't the door panels match, I'm pretty sure 84-85 e's that had cloth panels also had cloth seat parts, I had a 85e and my friends mom had one too, which we heisted often,

          What he said. It definitely doesn't look like an original example, which is why it's hard to believe that it only has 60k miles. It's missing the cardboard undercover for the driver's side as well... cracked dash. I'd be very sure the miles are documentable before I game him anywhere near $4000. If miles aren't documented... it's probably a $2500 car in my eyes if it has a clear title.

          It's funny that he says it would be hard to find a cleaner one for sale. LOL I have one for sale that is MUCH cleaner but with many, many more miles.

            Negative. Leather was an option for 84e's. Mine has it.

            Get the last 7 of his VIN and it'll tell you a good bit about how the car came from BMW

              This. My car has 205k on the clock but will go upwards of 4 grand easily.

                  Previously priced at 18,5k. Nice car, but safe to say some people are after that e30 tax.

                            Yeah man, that's a clean e28. I'd grab it and daily it until I had a full b35 swap put together, then make it into a 535i.
