That really looks more like normal wear on the black painted/undercoated sections. It is hard to tell from CL pics of course.

There is actually a plastic cover that goes over the top of that. Believe it or not, that’s what it looks like in there from the factory. Why he would take photos like this is beyond my comprehension.
