Not sure why you'd sell it after refreshing the engine only $4k miles ago when you've spent double what you're asking for the car? Maybe the money's been spent, and now the transmission is on the way out so they're cutting their losses?
Can't find it now but I remember reading somewhere that those M6s were the fastest depreciating BMWs of all time, and every time I see one I can see why.

I can understand that Laguna Seca Blue is a bit polarizing, but if you had an M car in such a rare color why the hell would you get it repainted to black?

Beautiful black 1995 BMW M3 5-speed automatic (189,000 miles) with black leather seats, wood trim interior, skylight, cold blowing A/C, excellent sound system, new front tires, and fast, fast, fast - 240hp. 2nd owner since 1999, all maintenance records back to 2000. Replaced transmission, new brakes and battery, original lighted door/ignition key. No tears on leather seats. CLASS act car. Really special, hate to sell but moving to NYC.
fast, fast, fast...
lol, an automatic E36 M3 wasn't even fast in 1995.
