Only drain your gas tank via the drain plug if it has the little transfer hose
between the two halves. It will only drain half of it. Because when you remove the second to last bolt
holding the tank and the last one shears off and you head is inbetween you
    and the ground it hurts.

done a few stupid things myself... Towing the car to the bodyshop with a tow rope and a neon, I forgot to tighten the front lugbolts, needless to say the front left wheel came off destroying the fender.

Last night while bleeding the clutch, my car came all over my face with her clutch fluid...I can tell shes excited to be running again.

OH. I have a good one. The day I got my car I learned that the cigarette lighters work when the car is off. It was late at night and I was tired and excited at the same time, and not having used one for years, I forgot that the lighter goes in until it gets fully hot, then pops out. So I pushed it in, it got stuck so i thought i broke it, so i forced it out by the surround and stuck my left index finger in it to pop it back out. I literally HEARD my skin burn, and it was a bright yellowish color. My car smelled like burning hair (guess skin smells the same) for a little bit.
The first car I ever rode in was an e30

I don't always wreck cars, but when I do I wreck them into trees.

Tought I needed to remove the filler hose from the fuel tank to get the last bolt holding the trailing arm on. Tank was full, of course.

Ever been swimming in a lake of gasoline?

2 days after i got my car back from paint, a couple wks ago...was workin on the car w/ jeans on. I brushed the pocket rivet from the jeans across the rear quarter panel. Right down thru the paint, primer & metal. Luckily the bodyshop was nice enough to respray it for me at no cost =)

^ouch. When my tranny blew up doing donuts in the snow when i was in highschool(yea really cool, i know) my dad came to the school with a floor jack to try and get under the car and see if it was just a linkage so he could fix it and drive it home....anyway, he didnt get the jack all the way under the car. I told him to stop, he insisted on 'one more pump' well that pump resulted in the car falling off the jack and putting a sizeable dent and gash in the door.

Stripping a car, I pulled the engine and tranny, leaving the driveshaft bolted up to the diff.

Went to take out the diff and it turns out the ebrake was non existent, and the diff. flange was nice and rusty...fuckidy fuck fuck.

Changing brakes, took both sides front rotors/pads off, got new stuff on one side, decided to bleed the brakes....expanded the piston on the other side and couldn't pop it back in. Luckily I had another caliper handy.

Also, once with both E30s, Make sure lug bolts are tight.

Changed the front wheel bearing and removed brake dust cover in process.
Installed new wheel bearing then realized that thebrake dust cover would not fit over the wheel bearing.
Had to cut the brake dust cover to fit it over the wheel bearing.
I've now done this twice in about two years: 2 for 2!

                            I admit:

Tried to rotate the crank to TDC while the transmission was in first and the ebrake was on. Oops!

I know this is 2 years later and all, but wouldn't your hood be in the way of the spark plug? It seems like it'd hit the hood and fall down either to the ground or get stuck somewhere along the way.

                                Lets see.....

Smacked a curb, bending a rim and asploding my IS lip.
Smacked the rear end of an aztek, munching my front bumper shock mount.
                                Started the car in gear.

Probably countless other things but can't remember them now.
