i didnt read through, but I have a coupe and vert. They are both way too much fun! I would get get another vert in a heartbeat.

      Pros:
      -bitches love them
-cruising on a summer night with the top down is the best feeling ever
-you can put big stuff in the back seat
-you can hear the exhaust really well around buildings/cars

      Cons:
      -some vert specific body parts
-people think that its acceptable to climb over the side and step on your seats to get in the back
-the roof WILL leak at least a little in the front corners
      -flexier flier chassis
-slightly slower due to weight (i can notice it)
      -wind noise at highway speeds

I dont see how you guys say verts are slow. Maybe you wer engine is a pos but mine pulls great. weight wise verts are like 150lbs more than a late model is.

I'm currently in the process of possibly selling off my coupe shell and getting a vert and turboing the m20 in it. This thread is making me want a cabrio in addition to my sedan.

I can deffently feel my Titanic Tita, specially up hills.

Get euro bumpers, remove a/c and trow out the rag top, that should bring you within range ;)

I have an iS and a Vert. I am currently DD'ing my iS while the vert is awaiting some attention and warmer days. In my opinion my vert is just as fast as if not faster than my iS. I have set up the suspension for mountain roads and AutoX and the car handles like it is on rails (confirmed by everyone who has driven it). My Vert can dust my iS in all aspects of performance but it also has 5-6 times the amount of money and time invested into it. Verts are extremely fun and full-o-sexiness!! Buy the vert and enjoy, some time in the future buy a sedan or coupe as a back up car for the really rainy days!

I've owned both, sold my 88is. Only reason I'd buy another coupe would be to go spec e30 racing. Cabrio with an S50 is just awesome fun.

                          cons;
1 - people keep calling them verts
2 - It was months before my girlfriend (now wife) ever saw it....she thought it was "cute"...wtf?!? But she loves riding in it.

                            Pros:
                            It's an e30.

                            Cons:
                            It's a convertible.

buying a cabrio with a hardtop is like buying two cars for the price of one. stop listening to these people and get your lazy ass over there and buy it already.

btw, the hardtop isn't worth 1700.00 as the guy says. more like 1000-1200 tops. still a good deal as a package though.

since it comes with two sets of wheels, the aftermarket set on the car is probably worth 5-600 if the tires are good.

if you subtract those two items, you have a car on coilovers for 12-1500 bucks. as i mentioned, stop being a stupid ass noob and get over there and buy it.

                                Pros: This feeling

                                Cons:

Feels heavier, rattles, increased road noise.
